Vulcan, the only Roman God in this set, is the god of fire. It only makes sense that the watercolor paint, Vulcan, is a firey red to orange to gold colorshift with a hint of iridescence. Fun fact: This is my favorite red I've ever made. It'll be hard to top. 
 
Unsure about sizing? There are both half and quarter pans pictured in the swatch photos. There's also a complete sizing guide included in the product photos and the following is a list of volumes:
